The Petting Zoo

One of the afternoons at the field conference, those of us with small kids took a trip to a nearby petting zoo. The kids enjoyed a little interaction with the animals.

They also had some plants and trees that are native to Brazil. This is coffee. I had never seen it on the bush before before, so I thought it was neat.

It was "Week of the Indian" at the petting zoo, so the tour involved an Indian hut in the jungle and meeting an Indian. The kids were scared of him, but we finally got them in the hut, and close enough to him to get a group photo!

A little playground time was a great ending to a fun afternoon!
