Housing Update

We would appreciate your continued prayers about a house. We have found a house that we really like, so we are praying that everything will work out for us to rent it. Here is Brazil it is a little more complicated to rent a house. First the rental price they quote is negotiable, so we have made an offer on the house, and we are waiting to see if the owner will accept it, or will counter-offer. When we agree on a price, there is a long list of paperwork that has to be taken care of. We are praying that they will accept our offer, or counter-offer still in our price range, and we are praying that all the paperwork will go through quickly so we can have the house when our container is released from customs. We did receive confirmation that the container arrived in port the middle of last week, so now we are just waiting until they will let it go, and praying that there is no trouble!

I wish that I would have taken pictures of this house, but if we do indeed get it I will give you a tour! It is really nice, and it is in nice neighborhood in a great location. It even has some cabinets in the kitchen, and also closets in the bedrooms! When Jeremy talked with the real estate agent today he said he would take down the sign so that no one else would look at it, so we feel hopeful about it. We should hear something on Monday. I am already arranging furniture and putting things away in my mind!
