A New School Year

Can you feel the excitement in the air? Can you smell the brand new books and nice sharp crayons? It's school time!! We are only a few days into our school year, and the boys are anxious every morning to get up early and get started on their school day. I wonder how long that will last!?

All three boys are in school now. Can you believe it? I can't! I am grateful that we have the opportunity to teach the boys at home. This year is especially new and exciting for Josiah and Jonathan because they are using the A Beka DVD program, and they are really loving being "part of a class."

Judson is in K5, and he gets Mom as his teacher, but he sits in with the 2nd graders for Bible class. 

After Bible, he is sent out of the room so Jonathan can concentrate on the rest of his subjects.

But he's so curious!

I found him peeking in the window and watching the video from the front porch.

I hope we can keep up the enthusiasm and excitement for learning. I am so thankful that the Lord has blessed us with children who have bright and inquisitive minds.
