The Boys' Bedroom

I haven't forgotten about showing you more of the inside of the house, but I'm still busily working on getting things in order, as well as trying to get ready to start school in the very near future.

One of the great things about this house is the size of the boys' bedroom. It's by far the largest room in the house. However, it also houses the most people, so that's fair!  This room is not complete, but at least all of their things are in a place for now. We want to purchase some type of bookcase or cabinet to store ALL their books in, and their games, which will give us some room for our books on the bookshelf we currently have. I also still need to get some kind of window treatment. You can see how the sun shines in brightly in the afternoon.

They are enjoying their space, and it is serving them well. We even had enough space to put a desk in the corner where Josiah can do his schoolwork. I love that they have room to move around without walking all over each other.

You will notice that the black and white floor does indeed continue throughout the whole house. This is something that I DON'T love so much, but we can live with it. It's such a bold pattern that it's hard to not be distracted by it! It bothers me most in the living room where I have all brown tones, but that's another post for another time!
