Jeremy's Amazon Adventure

Jeremy left last night for his two-week trip to the Amazon. He is with a group of missionaries, national pastors, and medical doctors and dentists. They will be doing medical clinics in remote areas, and using that as an opportunity to share the gospel with those people, many of whom have never heard about our Lord Jesus Christ.

He is very excited about this adventure. I tend to be a worrier, but the Lord has really helped me to be at peace about this. This is a great opportunity for him to get to know an area of Brazil that he has never been to before, and it also could open many doors for our future ministry. We are planning to move in the next year or so to the state of Rondonia, which is in northwestern Brazil, just south of the state of Amazonas.

I'm sure he will have much to tell us about when he gets back. I am anxious to hear about all of their experiences. They will be on two flights, a commercial boat, a van and then a smaller boat to travel up the river, then a return trip the same way. Please pray for their safety, as well as for the Lord to do a great work! And while you are at it, you can pray for the boys and I here at home as well! It's going to feel like a long two weeks for us.

Jeremy has scheduled some daily updates to appear on our website, BraziltotheUttermost.com. You can check there if you are interested in following the trip or getting more details.
