Downtown São Paulo

There are two girls from Crown College who are in Brazil for the summer, and they are staying with us this week. We took the opportunity to do a little "touristy" stuff that we wouldn't normally take the time to do. We went downtown and to the top of the third tallest building in the city of São Paulo.

Here is a model of the building in the lobby

We rode the elevator to the 32nd floor, then walked up three more flights of stairs to the tower on top. The view was absolutely amazing! From this vantage point you can really see how huge the city is. When are down in the middle of it, you don't get the whole picture.

While we were downtown, we also did a little shopping.
There is alot of great stuff here, but I can only handle fighting the crowds every once in a while.
