A Sure Way to Brighten Your Wife's Day!!

This afternoon I was pleasantly surprised by a man delivering flowers to my door! My thoughtful husband sent them to me. Purple roses were the flowers we used in our wedding, and I haven't had any since then, so they are very special.

Jeremy and I are counting the days until we will be together again. I have tried to be brave and not complain or feel sorry for myself, especially when I think of many others who have husbands who have to be away much more than just eleven days! The Lord has really helped me through this time, and I have felt a peace about him being on this trip.

Jeremy has had some great opportunities while he has been away. Maybe he can write a post when he gets back to tell all about it! He was knocking doors in a neighborhood last week and ran into a lady whose father is a pastor in Simi Valley, CA. She gave Jeremy his information and told him to contact him about getting a meeting there. Wouldn't that be amazing to get a meeting from going door to door! The Lord works in ways we sometimes would never think of.

Thank you for all the prayers on our behalf. Jeremy's schedule is rather full for the remainder of his trip. Pray that all the meetings will go well, and for safe travel from place to place, as well as his trip home on Friday.
