Mount Rushmore

On day two of our road trip, we took the time to stop off at Mount Rushmore. We were here once before, but the boys were very small and it was freezing cold and snowy, so it was a quick stop.

This time, we had an absolutely beautiful day to go exploring, and that we did! We went through the exhibits they have there, and also hiked one of the trails to see the monument from different angles. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, and we needed that time out of the car to get some exercise. The hundreds of steps on the trail didn't slow down the boys at all!
