Every once in a while the boys' schoolwork requires them to read words and draw pictures of them to be sure they know what they are reading. I always enjoy seeing what they draw. Jonathan had one such paper recently, and it made me smile, so I wanted to share it with you.

My personal favorite is the picture of the cup. In Jonathan's words, "It's broken."

I also like the picture of the tent. Evidently that is a bear chasing someone to their tent, and evidently Jonathan thinks that you are safe from bears inside of the tent!

And like a very good boy, he is putting away his number nine up on the shelf. Of course you don't want to leave your nines lying around on the floor!

  1. Great job, Jonathan!
I think the Lord sends these as special gifts:)

  2. I somehow missed this post! That's adorable! Blogs make great "scrapbooks" don't they?
I understand what you mean about the care package page. I suppose if worded badly it could sound like begging. While I'm not really a "professional" (haha!), I do think it would be a help.
We often are told to send gifts to missionaries as class projects in Master Club, but it is such a hassle to find out what the missionary needs/wants, how to send it, etc. If we could just access that info immediately, it would make it easier.
BUT, it was just a thought. ;)
Praying for you guys! And...sorry about the long comment! lol!
