Following our family's tradition, the Christmas tree went up the day after Thanksgiving. The boys were very excited. Jonathan helped to "scrooce" (aka spruce) up the branches before putting them on the tree.
It was a little strange to be decorating the tree in hot weather. I'm not sure I will ever get used to that. Josiah asked if we would have snow on Christmas. I told him no because it is summer here in Brazil. So he replied, "Then why are we putting up the tree already?" It's confusing, even for me.

ReplyDeleteLovely tree! I bet it IS weird to have warm weather at Christmas time. We usually have warm weather, but lately it's actually felt like winter! :)
