A Tour of our House

Welcome to our home! Please excuse the clutter as things are not quite to the point that I want them to be, but we are still working on it! Language started the day we got our container, so I haven't had alot of extra time for decorating, but I am working on as I can. I have a break from school in three weeks, so I am looking forward to getting some tasks accomplished.

Let me show you around!

The front of our house
Our house is actually a duplex, so only the left window
and left side of the gate are ours.

Our living room
Notice the lovely curtains that come in "fitted" and "flat."
I have beautiful material to make curtains, but that is one of those tasks that have not yet been accomplished! We also are going to rearrange furniture a little to de-clutter.

This is also in the living room looking the other way.
The stairs go up to our bedrooms, and the other doorway takes you to the dining room.

This is the dining room.
It became the central room to stick everything in since we don't have a table yet. As you can see, it has also become Jeremy's office! We are working on clearing it out.

This is my kitchen.
Look at all the cabinets! I am still moving things around to make it workable.

The other side of the kitchen.
An oven was the one appliance we didn't bring, and look...there was one in the house!

Out the back door of the kitchen.
There is a laundry area, and also a room that will eventually be Jeremy's office.
Right now it is storage for ours and the Kokenzies' things.

This is the outside hallway.
This is looking from the back room up to the front of the house.
It makes a great bike track for the boys!

This is the boys' room.
The room was bright pink and purple when we moved in, so Jeremy painted it.
The boys are very excited about their "blue" room!

And closets!! Hooray!

This is the third bedroom which will be our school room.
Notice the built-in desks. Another blessing!

I purposely didn't show you our bedroom, because it is not yet ready to be shown! It's much like the boys' room only a little bigger and has a bathroom in it. And it has a yellow wall. Whoever lived in this house before us really liked color!

This completes the tour. Thanks for stopping by! Come visit in person sometime!
