It's been about a week and a half that I have been out of the "online loop," and will probably be much that way for a few more weeks. I am soaking up every moment that I can with my family!
I was scheduled to leave on Thursday morning, June 6th, but to make a very long and stressful story short, I didn't leave until Friday afternoon, and didn't get out of Brazil until about 11:00 pm on Saturday. It was a very long week, but I finally arrived at my parents' house about 4:30 on Sunday afternoon, the 9th. We planned my trip months in advance, but I had four flights cancelled, and was beginning to wonder if I was ever going to make it!
But thankfully, I arrived safely, and I am loving the opportunity to be with my family. Later I hope to post pictures and catch you up on things, but for now, I'm going to go hang out with my nieces and nephews!
