He wrote messages on the back of each petal. It was very special, because I think this is the first time he has written down his own personal Mother's Day message, and his words were so very precious. I am so grateful for these three little guys who call me "Mom."
I am overwhelmed at times with the task of motherhood. God has entrusted me with such an important job of raising three boys to grow up into what I hope will be three Godly men who love the Lord with all of their heart, soul, and mind.
I think today of my own mother. Oh, how I wish I could be with her today...make her dinner or take her out...and just be together. That's not possible today, but I am counting the days until we will be together. Even though it won't be the second Sunday in May, it will definitely be "mother's day." I am so thankful for my mother who has always been there for me and has been such a help to me in so many ways in my life.
I am also thankful for my mother-in-law. She has always been a blessing and encouragement to me. She is a godly example of what a missionary wife should be, and I have learned countless lessons from her.
There are many who have only memories of their mother today. Take advantage of every opportunity to love on your mother while you can!
And so, to my mother, mother-in-law, my sister, sisters-in-law, my aunts, and my friends I wish a
Happy Mother's Day!
Thank you so much Amanda; I can't wait to see you and having all 4 kids home together will be so much fun/ Am counting the days.
