The View from the Back Porch

We spent our New Year's Eve at home just playing and spending time together as a family. It was an enjoyable evening. The boys were dying to stay up until midnight, and since we knew there would be lots of noise and fireworks which would probably wake them up anyway, we let them stay up.

Here is a sampling of what we saw from our back porch at midnight. These fireworks were set off from the park downtown which is only a few blocks from our house.

2012 has been an interesting year. We have lived in three different cities this year, and have had many new experiences. We've had good times and bad times, but the Lord has been faithful through it all.

We never know what a year will bring, but we are entering 2013 looking forward to what God will do!

Happy New Year to you all!!!

    1. I hadn't noticed it before, but I went back and listened again, and I think one of them did say that. We don't have a dog, but everyone around us does, and they were all worked up that night. Happy New Year to you too!
