Timberrrr!

Our neighbor behind us had a dead tree in their yard, and recently they decided to take it down. So he did what we would all think to do. He stood on the wall...in flip flops...and started hacking at it a few feet over his head with a machete. That IS what YOU would have done, right?

He wasn't making much progress, so he quit and a few weeks later he tried again. This time he took a different approach. He stood on the wall...barefoot...and used a handsaw in the same spot where he was hacking at with the machete. 

This time he was making better progress.  He would saw a little then jump down and pull on the ropes he had tied around the tree, then get back up and saw some more.  After a long process, he finally got the tree cut through and it fell without breaking the wall. 

You just never know what kind of entertaining things are going to happen in your back yard!
