On the Road Again

This morning we left this beautiful bed and breakfast in Quinebaug, Connecticut.
We've never stayed in a bed and breakfast before, but one of our supporting churches is right around the corner from this inn, so they provided us with accommodations here. It was beautiful, and we really enjoyed getting to meet the owner. She fixed us a delicious breakfast and sat and talked with us while we ate. We were enthralled listening to her stories and memories of living in Germany as a child during the war. She was one of those people that you could just sit and listen to all day. Her accent was really interesting as it was a mix of a German accent and a New England accent.

I love New England. I love the old down towns and the stately old historic homes and churches. We spent last Saturday night and Sunday morning in Londonderry, NH, and then drove to Connecticut for the evening service there. We had a great time in those two churches. They both had such an exciting spirit, and we hated to leave after each service.

Our recent travels have taken us to Tennessee, northern California, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and now the northeast. Our next stop is north of the border in Ontario, Canada, and then we will be heading back to the land of Dixie! We are logging many miles, but God has been so good to us. We do not want to take His protection and provision for granted.
