Pictures do not adequately show what it is really like, but I'll give you a peek!
The house is large, and the yard even larger! It even has real grass and trees!
This is a lemon tree. Here in Brazil we normally get limes, but this tree has the normal yellow lemons which are very expensive to buy in the grocery store.
There's nothing like having parrots in your yard....
...and monkeys in the trees!
Oh wait, those are boys! They are loving the space to run and play, climb trees, ride bikes, and get dirty!
We are also babysitting some pets, and the boys are loving the experience of having a dog.
Meet Naki...
and Konig!
There is also a 20-or-so year old turtle that lives in the yard too, but he's a little hard to find. We've seen him on a few occasions, and just put food out for him every now and then!
Yes, it is difficult for me to be in other people's space, with other people's things, arranged in other people's ways. However, I think I better just get used to it, because it will be another six or eight months before we have our own space again. We will just keep following the Lord and see what He has in store for us next!
Those pictures are beautiful, especially those monkeys. LOL It has to be difficult to be living in someones else's space. Isn't it interesting to see the things God "puts us" through to conform us to His image. Can't wait to see you all.
ReplyDeleteIsn't the Lord good to even give you such a nice place to wait! Praying for your family, and the transitions ahead.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! I hope you all can relax and enjoy. Thanks for sharing. The boys just keep growing! They are adorable!
ReplyDeleteSo, uh, I'm kinda glad that I didn't plan a visit while you're at this house. I mean, it looks amazing & that yard & those trees have to be tons of fun for the boys, but that bird in the house! AGGGHHH!! I'd have a heart attack! lol Can't wait to see you guys!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove "your" house! I'll be praying. I know what it's like to live in other people's spaces for months at a time. Not fun, but God supplied the grace and He always provided exactly what we needed! Praying for you!
