An Afternoon at the Park

 We had a holiday this week, so I was off from school on Monday and Tuesday. It was a nice break, and we tried to take advantage of the time and take the kids to the park. We had a picnic, and took their bikes along. I think they had alot of fun.

 

We have been wanting to go for a while and take Josiah's training wheels off of his bicycle. We thought it was about time to start working on that, but don't have enough space at our house for him to really learn. He did really well. He was afraid at first, and didn't want to do it, but he did well. (I took some video, but can't get it to upload here for some reason....sorry!)  Even though he won't admit it, I think he had a good time in the end. We will keep practicing!

He kept finding sticks, so I told him I wanted to take a picture of his stick.

  

Then he wanted to be sure I got a picture of this stick, too!

  

It was a very pretty day, but VERY hot!  Everyone was very worn out at the end of the day. It's nice to just spend time together as a family!
