I have spent the last two days trying to find a place for everything we brought home with us! The house is starting to look better, and I can even see the floor! To complicate the task, before I could put away what was in our suitcases, I had to empty the dressers and closets of winter clothes. When we left I had to dig out summer clothes to take with us. All the suitcases are put away in the garage, and I don't want to see them for a while! I have been trying to clean and eliminate some things as I go, so the trash pile is growing also.
The boys are all having a great time playing with the toys they haven't seen for a few months, and even Judson is enjoying roaming around and exploring the house! He is really getting good (and fast) at crawling, and yesterday he even took one step. He is still not too steady, but I don't think it will be long before he is off and running.
Today I took the boys to the library. They love books! Since we will be around here for a little while, I signed them up for the summer reading club. They have to listen to 20 books, so I guess I am in the reading club too! I think they will enjoy it, and they get fun prizes.
Our air conditioner wasn't working right when we got home, and of course it has been in the 90's for the last few days. We were very happy to see the repair man come yesterday and fix it. I think everything is in working order now, and we are trying to get back into our home routine and catch up on everything we missed.
