On Saturday Uncle Larry took us to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Museum and Library. That was so interesting. I could have spent all day there reading everything, but since we had the kids with us we had to keep moving and skim some of the information. The part of the museum they really enjoyed was Air Force One. They have the actual plane there that was used by the Reagans and other presidents until they replaced it with the one they use now. We were able to walk through the plane. They have it set up like it was when President Reagan used it. It was very interesting. If you are ever in the Los Angeles area, this is definitely a place I would recommend that you visit, especially if you enjoy history. Many of the displays were very touching, and it is one of those places that makes your American pride swell.

Happy Birthday to Judson....again!
Hello...anyone there?
Well, now that's TWO places you've been that I am hoping to go to someday! :] I would love to go to Simi Valley to see Reagan's library/museum. We've been to several presidential libraries and they are all so interesting and unique. And yes, I love history! Thanks for whetting my appetite for California!
ReplyDeleteOh, and thanks for the comment! I hope to get back online sometime. If and when I do, I'll look you up again! ;]
I'm always praying for you, and I'm so thankful we've kept in touch!
Love,
Valerie
The plane would be so neat to see! What fun memories!
